Wonderful pics. My novel, Searching for Pemberley, features a love story of a navigator on a B-17 who can't put the war behind him. It has a Jane Austen tie-in, but the inspiration for writing it was the boys of WWII. My father was one of Roosevelt's Whiz Kids. Worked in D.C. through the whole war, but his 3 brothers all fought, and his sister served with the State Dept. in Berlin immediately after the war. Great stuff.
Nice post, Kathy!
